Yes. Trust Law offers “big firm” services and experience at an affordable cost. Whatever your legal needs, they will be handled professionally and efficiently by seasoned attorneys who not only understand the issues you are facing but will deliver the right solutions.
Clients desire a trusted source of representation that will help them solve their problems, no matter how complex. They want a law firm they can have a long term established relationship with and that they can refer their friends, family and business contacts to with confidence. In seeking a trusted partner for a business relationship that may last decades, a client wants to make sure a law firm is not only capable of solving present matters, but also prepared to address issues that may arise in the future. We are that trusted advisor to our clients – nurturing and protecting the well founded trust our clients have placed in us for years. We at Trust Law also embrace state-of-the-art technology, as we are also dedicated to handling today’s—and tomorrow’s—legal needs.
Most lawyers maintain caseloads of 150-200 or more cases and are unable to provide real attention to their clients and their cases. The attorneys at our firm purposefully maintain a maximum caseload of no more than 50 clients at a time, which allows us to be fiercely responsive to all of our clients around the world. We take pride in our communication with our clients. The law can be complicated, but our job is to explain the law to you and communicate with you so that you understand your case and our role in it.
Our firm handles a wide range of matters including commercial litigation, outsourced general counsel work, contract review and negotiation, labor and employment advice, government contracts, business transactions, and tax and estate planning.
Yes, we do. We work with Walser Wealth Management – founded by one of our firm’s co-founders. We also work with other advisors from other firms worldwide – we do what is best for our client and work well with whomever they use to advise them in those matters.
We are happy to conduct business either virtually or in person with any client. The law can be complicated, but our job is to explain the law to you and communicate with you so that you understand your case and our role in it. We value clear communication about every aspect of our representation—your claims, the strength of your case, your bill, and anything else.
Our main office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (EST), with after-hours available when appropriate to the client/case at hand. We also work with clients all around the world and adjust our hours accordingly to their time zones.
For certain services such as commercial litigation, we bill at an hourly rate. For other services, such as outsourced general counsel work, we work for a negotiable monthly fee the amount of which depends upon the size of the business and the anticipated legal needs. We can also work with our clients to establish a flat fee monthly retainer relationship.
No, all of our initial consultations (up to one hour) are free.
Commercial litigation includes any legal action taken regarding a business relationship. Cases can include a breach of contract, lease agreements, intellectual property disputes, and more. While these issues can seem daunting, an experienced attorney can make a huge difference. One of our lawyers can ensure your understanding of the legal implications of the suit, and work with you to make a plan of action for any upcoming legal proceedings.
If an issue arises between your business and a partnering business, contractor, or client, contact us immediately. Trust Law will assist in handling these matters in the most efficient and least destructive manner.
We are industry insiders. Likewise, we have extensive experience in specific industries. We have seen everything from government contracting to cutting edge environmental technologies. In the event that you or your business faces a commercial case, our commercial litigation group provides a full range of counseling and litigation services. Further, we have established an excellent reputation for efficiently providing creative and strategic solutions to clients.
Our lawyers have gained national recognition for their experience representing diverse clients in a variety of sophisticated and high-stakes corporate legal matters. Additionally, we have practiced extensively in state, federal and private forums across the United States. Our attorneys have managed complex litigation on a national level. Further, our team is comprised of accomplished litigators, trial lawyers, and appellate advocates.
Trust Law’s approach to commercial disputes is straight-forward. Our team will quickly learn the cause and parameters of the dispute, work proactively with the client to develop a desired outcome and a strategy to achieve that outcome, and then make it happen. Our goal is to minimize your stress and handle the issue in a productive manner.
With the advent of AI (Chat GPT, etc.) clients ask how our firm can add value in this new environment, as they often face uncertainty about the future of their profession too. Technology will never supplant the role of an attorney as a trusted counselor and advocate. AI will never take the place of the real thing. What these tools can do is free your people from wasting time, allowing them to focus their skill and intuition where it is needed the most—serving our clients. Clients want results, but they also want to feel valued and respected. Only people can do that, and they can do it better when they have more time to counsel, listen and serve.
